Here's my Washington spring bear. Shot with my grandfathers 30-30. He passed away 10 years ago and this was my first time hunting with it.

cool.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Dropped a bear yesterday morning. Buddy in the middle spotted it so he got the shot. 230yds, 34 degree angle down a washout in a blueberry patch. Ran 20yds and flopped. First bear for any of us to be a part of and we had a great time. The pack out and few miles back to the truck wasn't the most fun but it's all part of the experience. Already planning the next hunt, we've got more tags to fill!
