I swear it wasn't me.

These guys make me sick.  Anybody up for forming a lynch mob?

It is sad that we don't have more WDFW officers on the look out. I hope they roast these pos over the coals.

The story was on King 5 news tonight. Cenci had his mug all over it.

I hope the prosecutor nails them.

I'm curious to find out who is involved. I live in cowlitz county and know a lot of hunters/fishermen/women. Hopefully it's no one I know.

The best thing that we can ALL do is this...
1. Follow the proceedings on this thread.
2. Everyone write letters to the Prosecuting Attorney suppporting the maximum punishment available.
3. Write letters to the Jude stating the same.
4. Write letters to the Game Department stating same.
5. Write letters to our Represnetatives supporting the Game Departments efforts and ask for support.

The common theme,
Write Letters.

I would also like to know more information.  Specifically, a buddy of mine while elk hunting about three years ago stumbled upon a bear bait set-up in the western side of the county.  We took pictures of the whole area, bait barrel, beaten down earth and even some trees that appeared to be scared a bit from climbing tree stand cables.  My buddy reported it to WDFW complete with coordinates and pictures.  We never heard anything back, just makes you wonder if it could have been these guys... he was always hoping for a little bump in special draw points...

It was interesting how the media reported the incident.  There was a bigfocus on how vicious the hound hunting was and how hounds were tearing their prey apart.  I was amazed how the media was handed video of that action, makes me wonder how they got it, and even the fish and game seemed a little biased on hound hunting.  Anyway just two cents, I believe the fish and game has gotten a little to liberal for my taste.  Especially when it comes to hound hunting and salmon fishing.  I think these guys deserve the maximum sentence plus some to send a message that poaching isn't hunting.  But by portraying hound hunting as evil is not the right way to go about.  Maybe the fish and game should spend more time enducating the public on what's fair and legal hunting and stop bitching about the lack of funding.  I am sure the million plus educated people in and around the Seattle area could me more helpful then a few more game wardens.

:yeah: I agree, the news report was just a roasting on hound hunting. What a bunch of garbage. Also hope they fry these guys. This is pretty sad they went this far without someone saying anything. Something this big wasn't kept to just the guys involved. You know quite a few people probably knew about it and just turned a blind eye

Nothing to see here folks, they'll likely get a $1000 fine and 10 hours community service  :bash:

Hope they get prison time!

Really it comes down to judge and prosecutor. WDFW doesn't do anything in terms of asking for penalties or is involved in that process. If WDFW wants a $4.000 fine, and prosecutor says nah it'll be $400, it'll be $400.
