Great bears, great pics and write up. Proof that hunting isn't just about the killing. I feel the same way you do, even without pulling the trigger, a successfull hunt full of great memories. Did you mention what unit you were In? I don't remember seeing that.

I too am curious what unit you were hunting in. When I lived in WA I did spring bear hunts in Blue Creek, Dayton and Wenaha. Miss it terribly.
