Get some!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Well sorry to say that I’m still holding a goat tag.  Queez, one of the other tag holders and I spent the weekend up there. It’s sketchy. Probably close to 3’ of snow and super difficult getting around. Spent a bunch of time today trying to will a nice billy off the top of the ridge by camp but no dice. I’m grateful to have been able to spend some time in some very Beautiful country. A goat at this point would be icing on the cake. Enjoy some pics. Sorry that there is not a pic of a dead billy.

There’s a couple goats up on that ridge.

Trekking pole for depth reference. Fully extended for me. I’m 6’4”

I might be almost dead in this rare Josh selfie.

There are worse places to spend a weekend.

Here’s the goats. Nanny down low in the blue circle. We had a hard time deciding if she was in fact a nanny until we watched her squat to pee. She was biiiggggg.  The billy stayed up on the ridge top just below that rock face the whole time.

If things go right, Queez is going to kill him. He’s still up there now.

Too deep apparently. I didn’t go beyond the saddle. They tried to go further today but they said no go and came back.
