Parachute in with snow skies, kill it ski out👍.

If you don't take this idea seriously, then you don't take OIL seriously.  Just sayin'

Are the goats still up in the snow or do they come down and get in the trees once snow covers the rocks?  Goodluck Jackalope, hate to see people get drawn for something like this and not harvest.
not sure, but my wife's uncle killed his goat in waist high snow.  I think waiting will get him a much better coat, he will fill his tag!

The goats are carrying pretty amazing coats right now.

I'm cold just looking at those photos.

Good luck. Hopefully there will be some weather breaks that allow you to get closer.

The goats were in the highest parts of the ridges in all the snow.
One of the pics I posted has some circles I drew on them...those are goats. I know you can't see them in the pics but that's where they were.

Im guessing most are timbered bound soon if not already.   I know you are watching the pending weather coming in. :yike:   That's some cool (no pun intended) hunting.

Wasn't there a story posted last year or 2 yrs ago of a guy that had this same tag and ended up killing a nice billy next to rimrock lake??? Boated to it and loaded whole.

A guy killed one off of a lake. Beached his boat, got out and killed him. Maybe it was Walupt Lake?

combs338 is his handle. Only reason I know that is because I was just looking at his thread.

Thats the 1 I was thinking of.

Take the HW corporate black super-secret-covert-James bond black hawk and parachute in. I think you should quit with the above 1st world elitist problem and get'er done.

All you have to do is shoot and your super-ultra-high-paid guides can figure out how to get your goat down. :chuckle:

When I was taking Scouts climbing in the Olympics I would have everyone :pee: on rocks. Find a nice flat one and you'll bait them right in with the smell of salt. Worked like a champ for me.

I tried that on a couple rocks at camp when we were weathered in a few weeks ago since we couldn't see more than 100'. Didn't work.

Don't give up on it... it cost nothing, and in the Olympics they will dig a hole to China if you dont!
