What do you folks typically use for bait? I was thinking of dropping a couple pots in Curlew. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Most of the time I use fresh filleted trout carcasses, seems to work the best for me.

I caught 2 after leaving my pots in for a few days.

Question if you only catch 2 how do you store them till you have enough for a good meal?

Thanks

Nice One's Ddouble, should put a tape on the bigger one.

I have kept crawdads in the fridge crisper drawer with a wet towel over them for up to four days, they were still alive when I boiled them.  Not sure how long they would last.

After a month of trial and error I think I found the magic bait for the back yard creek. Not monsters by any means but a good start! 6 and 6 1/8

Pseudo thread jack in progress!

Quick question, does anyone know of a supplier here in Washington that can order in live Crawfish for a big Crawfish boil?  I need a source of supply for a couple hundred pouds of fresh not frozen.  Anyone?

Might try Pacific Seafoods, I know they carry signal crawfish from time to time.  I have seen them in Fred Meyer and the meat manager said they came from Pacific Seafoods.
