Now that most of the state draws are complete, post up what you have planned this fall!

I am looking forward to:

Colorado Mule Deer - 43 early rifle (above timberline) - Sept 5th - 17th

Nevada Mule Deer - 221-223 early rifle - Oct 5th - 14th

Washington Whitetail - Late Palouse - Nov 9-13; 18-19

Always like seeing what caliber of buck you can turn up during that Late Palouse hunt.  Good luck!

WA archery elk and deer for the whole early season - Sept. 8-24

First time I've had two weeks vacation in a row since 1989.

Good for you! Enjoy it. If you punch a tag or not.

I always do enjoy my time with nature. My last couple of trips were with a bad hip and painful. Got the hip fixed last year (and missed hunting altogether). Hopefully, I'll be in great shape by September. I do need some meat in the freezer. It's been too long since I've eaten my last elk.

Archery antelope in August, archery mule deer in September, rifle elk in mid October, rifle mule deer late October, hopefully some late archery mule deer in November, somewhere I hope to find a little time to hunt my extra antlerless deer tag and I may pick up another tag when they release the leftover nonresident tags. All in Idaho.

I will cram in as much bird hunting as I can in between. Should be a fun year!
