Watched this bear for over a hour at the end of may up in the valley. I still know where he's hanging at seems like might be in the above average scale what's your thoughts

I would say an average bear based on the size of the ears and the fact that the belly does appear to hang to the knees. I would still shoot that bear on opening day as it is bigger than most bears you'll get a shot at.

I refer to the head as a pumkin....if the head is big, snout is short and wide and ears are not super close together.  Not sure...but believe the term toad is in reference to the entire animal.   :dunno: :dunno:  :tup:

I am no expert but I say 300lb shooter boar. Prolly closer to 400lb in the fall.?  Above average.  I think its a great bear, very nice.   :bfg:
