If you see a bear with a collar can you shoot it? I assume it's like an elk...  :dunno:

yeah, but need to check with WDFW before eating any of it.  The meat might still have the drugs in it.

Half of me wants to shoot it. The other half of me says its just a added hassle.
A remarkable experience is one where the pain is forgotten so quickly, the frustrations and struggles are forgotten the minute you’re done.

I can’t wait to do it the next time.

Shooting a collard bear is legal? What is the protocol? Why the need to check for drugs? I have seen numerous collared bears and have been curious about this. Thanks!

On a collar or ear tag there will be a number, and wdfw can tell you how long ago they tranquilizer,or any other drugs they may have been injected with, some drugs they use take a few days before all drugs have left the animals system or the meat.
