Whitetail Question
« on: August 04, 2017, 06:47:35 PM »
Pulled a late quality whitetail tag in NE Wa that has oct 21 thru nov 22 hunt dates.  Looking for a heavy mature buck.  What is the best days  to hunt them in the rut.  I have heard the nov 19 is post rut by some.
I have 5 full days to hunt.

Thanks.
Bryan

Early Thanksgiving week is a great time for heavy whitetail action. I make a point of being out there Sun-Mon-Tues of that week. Do you have antlers and a grunt call?

I have both.  Never used either.  I wish I had them last year.  We had a pair of bucks clashing horns 200 yards downhill from us..  Could never get close.

we hunt the extended whitetail season every year and the first two to three weeks of november are the best time.
