Going to give it a shot out of Shilshole tomorrow.  Anyone willing to share a PM on where they've been finding fish?  Trying to decide if we should start at Meadow Point or go up to the Oil Docks.

Wouldn't normally ask this sort of question but I have to be at work around 9, so we won't have much time to search.

Still tons of coho in the ocean to. To bad they took away the area 5 coho season. They are really killing the small resorts up there.  Good job on the Puget sound fish.

Used to do well  off Carkeet park just north of Shilshole and across at Jeff head.  Goodluck

Saw one stretch his net this morning in front of the oil docks right in the middle of all the boats.

James - looks like you were going this morning, but for what it's worth, I saw three charters right in front of Shilshole when I came back in this morning.

Got a two man limit this morning by about 9:30.  Not red hot for us, but got into a school of biters at about 9:00 and got our fish.  Didn't think to take pics because we were scrambling to get back to work but they were all pretty small--probably 4-5 pounds.  All four of the fish we got to the boat were clipped.

Thanks to steeleywhopper and CP for the helpful PMs.  Followed your advise on the how/where.

Also saw all those charters right in front of Golden Gardens.  We tried in shallow there with the big pack of boats for a little bit but just got into shakers.  Taking a 3/0 in the face has got to be pretty rough on those little guys so we went elsewhere.

So did anyone else get theirs? We made it to Area 10 and put lines in at 7am. I had a spoon on one rod behind a green uv flasher. Second rod had a slim ace high fly with a hoochie under the skirt, also green flasher. Was trolling with rods at 40 and 60 at between 2.8 and 3.0. Hit our first fish, a double at about 7:20. Landed them, a fatty about 7 or 8 pounds and a smaller one. Got one rod back in the water, the spoon, and had it go off before I could get the other rod out. I was by it so went ahead and brought that one in. I'm thinking this is awesome, three clipped fish, no shakers, no weeds, no nothing other than 3 keepers bleeding out and a gray whale off the port side. Very cool. Lots of fish around me being caught...probably saw 5 or 6 nets out just in that time. We were coming on slack tide and I'm thinking we will be done in only a few more minutes. Not that easy...we had to wait another 45 min or so for the 4th fish. Hit this one again at about 60 feet on the spoon. This was a beauty at oh about 7 or 8 pounds. Not huge by any means but a great fish. Clipped, yes, bonk, done. We cleared the gear and headed in. Good feeling running north with the fishing flotilla behind me still working at it. Back at the dock in Everett. Fish lady said I was only the 3rd boat back that was in area 10. The 2 before me had limits as well. I've go range duty tomorrow or I'd make it back out. Fish for dinner and I'm going to try my hand at making some Ikura out of the roe.
