DONT MESS WITH PEOPLES STUFF

To the jerk who re aimed my trail can to the sky. Thank you for not stealing it but a big up yours for what you did. GMU 673. Pictures of you are soon to follow. It's simple, it's called sportsmanship and respect.

I'd be very careful. Post his picture and he might not just re-aim your camera tomorrow when he walks by it. He didn't steal it, could be worse.

Recently had a plumber work on my septic and got to talking about hunting.  Told him whenever i see a game cam i try to avoid it and walk around without spoiling the area.  But this guy flat out told me he doesn't care who's camera it is... he'll pull and keep the sim card to see what's on it.  And that people should consider themselves lucky he didn't take the camera too.  After he told me that i cut the conversation short and needless to say that company will never get my business again.

At least you found it still on the tree. I'd chalk it up as a funny stunt and move on.

Did this guy own the company or was he just an employee?  If he was an employee, I guarantee you his boss would want to hear about this.  I'd fire the guy in a heartbeat if I was in charge.  If he is the owner, I wouldn't hesitate to report him to the BBB and/or post reviews quoting exactly what he said online so others know.

There's no way a service provider who works IN OTHER PEOPLES HOMES should be a known and unabashed thief.  Good grief...

He was an employee and the real kicker was he had a trainee with him.  I did call the company to let them know but some gal ended up taking a message.  Dunno what ever came of it  :dunno:

Post the company on here, and call there again and talk to the super. I'd let the bird out of the cage and let it be known.

I just got back from checking on 2 cameras soaking for a month.  Was real excited to see what would be on the cards.  First one was a bit of a disappointment from what we could tell there were o my a couple 3 or 4 points and spikes.  Then the second camera was holding all our hopes, and we found we had been jacked!  The camera was still there but the card inside had been removed.  THANKS *censored*!  If I find you I'll let you know what I really think in person.  The fact that fellow hunters would be so selfish and greedy to steal this just galls the hell out of me.  I wouldn't mind at all if someone came across it and looked at the card and reset it so it was activated, but to take the flipping card is just beyond me.  I have had a card taken in the same area before many years ago, it was replaced with another that actually had pictures of the guy on it.  Seemed like he just didn't want me to know what animals were around but didn't want to steal.  Anyway.......IF IT AINT YOURS LEAVE IT THERE!!!  Flipping POS's!!!  After I got home we did find a 6 point hiding on the edge of a pic on the first card and he was there 2 days ago, so we're just gonna do our best to harvest him and piss on the sorry ass that took the other card.

Good Luck to Everyone in their honest efforts to be successful this year!

This is why lock boxes and cables were invented. Sure, they are not impervious, most 'hunters' are not equipped to take on a steel box bolted to a tree, with a cable snaking through the box and retaining not only the camera, but the box also.

Of course, respect and sportsmanship would mean no locks are necessary, but unfortunately, some folks have not learned that lesson yet. Until then, a 26 dollar investment can save your camera and photos.

So besides the issues at the first cameras, at the start of the archery season we went and checked three other cameras a few miles south of the first two.  These are located approximately 1 mile off the PCT, on game trails north of White Pass.  Out of these three, one camera was outright stolen, one card had been removed and one camera had been flipped lens into the tree, batteries removed and then closed up.  So basically out of 5 cameras, 1 stolen, 2 SIM cards stolen, one batteries removed.  Whoever does this crap is not a hunter, they are just a basic low life theif and if caught are going to receive our brand of justice.  My buddy was putting some serious curses upon them.  F U A Holes
