These are our Oregon archery bulls from this year...Still getting to do it with Dad and my brother.  I was the Gatherer this year.  Dad and my brother were both successful.  My brother hadn't killed a bull in 8 years, so I told him I would be caller for him on this day.  We had a real good bull going, but he decided to take his cows and head over the ridge, and we were trying to move up on him, I caught this bull heading off another ridge heading the same direction as we were.  Moving quickly, we got there before he did and he offered a 32 yard shot for my brother as I was telling him " kill him".  Well he made a great shot and the dry spell was over.  Was a great year and very happy and lucky to still be able to hunt with my dad and family.  I was even able to get the wife up to camp and help with my dad's bull.

My best so far, 2nd branched bull, following a barely legal 3pt last year. On the Tuesday of early muzzy in the Yale unit western wa. 135 yards off hand heart shot. 5x5. Took about 5 steps and went down. Made some new friends this season while out there. Would of been packing all day if it wasnt for one of them that helped me out.

Nice
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Not very many pictures of cows in this thread. I am happy with this one. 20 yards. 50 pound bow. Shuttle T broad head.

Idaho Bulls! We were lucky enough to close the gap from 800 yards to 271 yards to make 3 great shots on 3 different bulls all at one time. The bulls laid only 60 yards apart from each other when it was all said an done. It took us 3 days to get all the meat out. It was worth it :)
