Teanaway Cow Elk
« on: October 04, 2017, 11:31:56 AM »
Hello fellow hunters,

I have a modern cow elk tag for the Teanaway. I've been scouting and haven't seen anything but bulls (great problem to have, but not what I'm looking for). Looking for any advice that might point me in the right direction towards harvesting my first elk and putting some meat in the freezer.

Thank you in advance.

I thought modern cow tags for Teanaway were 8/1-9/8 this year. Did something change, or did you mean to say muzzle tag?

Correct

Your original post states Modern.  That's where the confusion lies.

Hope you have a great hunt.  Best of luck.

Haha! Yeah just noticed that. I have another permit for buck deer that's modern and a couple of other special permits (apparently this was my year to draw 4 tags). One day I'll review what I write before I post haha :chuckle:
