They just don’t look that big until I try to fit them in my house. :chuckle:

Ya I had this issue also. So I have the wife the owners manual to the DODGE and ask her to read it and if she ever seen the words Peterbilt or Kenworth to let me know. She's been rather quiet the last few years.

My wife stays home, me and the last daughter at home go get them, what ever we find is perfect.

Just got back from late archery, spent a week up in the 346 and it was pretty dismal. We saw elk the first couple days and then it went very quiet.  had a great time with friends and family playing poker at night and laughing our butts off, great guys to hang with.  Can't wait till next year.  The guys I were with have been hunting that area for 30 years, they said this year was the worst late and early season ever!  Not sure whats going on but I hope the herd comes back.

I went out Thanksgiving weekend near naselle. I saw to two groups last light friday. In the morning I Got in the tracks of one of the groups, bumped them three times, then finally clover leafed in front when I had an idea of the trail they would use.  100 yds into the trail we run into each other :bash:. They made more progress then I appreciated. Called a cow in at the bottom of a finger but got antsy, and ran right into her. Lesson learned.... Again! I'll be hitting it again 7 days from tomorrow!!

I messed up, completely forgot to get a hold of you and plat.  Wanted to at least sit down for a beer and talk.  I have a cousin that may still be over there, he's in a red full size ford truck with his trailer at squaw rock camp ground, camped next to the road.  If your in the area maybe stop by, his name is bill.  He hasn't been seeing anything as well.

I'm looking for hunting partner in GMU 407. I'm hunting for deer and elk this year but I usually get the big game package with elk, deer, bear and cougar tags. I've only been hunting in Washington for about 4 years but have done a lot of hunting growing up in the Midwest. I put my time in every year but I am not used to hunting in this part of the country and am starting to get frustrated with my lack of success. Any guidance would be appreciated but more or less I would just like someone to hunt with even if we have to learn together! I live near Bellingham and have private land to hunt as well as I have been scouting on public land.

Hi Ben, I am in a similar boat but with less bow experience. I have access to some good lands for 2018 and a boat, if that is of interest.
PM sent, I would love to get in touch and plan for some hunts in the last few days of 2017.
thank you
