I still have one for this year.  I will put in again next year.  A screwed up knee kind of put a big hamper on my season.  :bash:

I apply every year and have only drawn it once in 10 years. Gives lots of options and I can hunt both sides which is a huge benefit for me. Not good odds and price is steep, but it’s worth it to me to add options.

I will be in again with max points....whatever the hell that is.  I think I am one of the few that has never drawn a MS elk permit.   :bash:

So I am new to the state and moved here a little over two years ago. I have never submitted for special hunts because I am also a new hunter. Last year I tried my hand at deer but didn’t put much work into it. This year I was told I could apply for multi season tags and hunt the whole season with my bow and rifle. So in March I applied with 0 points for both deer and elk multi season tags. Well results came out and I was selected for both. So I figured I would really put in the effort this season and get something. Well here I sit reading y’alls comments about max points and never drawing the ms elk tag. I put my heart and soul into it this year miles (300+ Miles in my boots alone) and days upon days in the field. Now look at the fruits of my labor.

Well I don’t know if I can see it like that. I mean you could have done what I did all season just without a weapon in your hand.

I drew multi elk and deer in 17, bought the elk tag but completely blew it and didn't hardly hunt. Ended up hunting out of state instead

Yep to fill my deer tag maybe with the blacktails that run through my neighborhood. But I have spent to much time and money to go anywhere else. Plus I deploy next August for at least 18 months and time with family is a must. Maybe in two seasons from now I’ll actually fill a tag if I can actually get stationed back here. But this season is looking lost.

Yes, at this point we have no idea what the seasons will be the next three years.

I drew this year and have had a hoot. Did not take An animal however. I do not regret my  decisions . It was fun being able to experience every season. I will do it again when allowed
