Where to get old fishing rod refurbished?
« on: December 07, 2017, 08:00:55 PM »
Evening folks-
My grandpa recently gave me one of his old fishing rods.  It appears to be an old bamboo, octagonal rod.  From googling it I think it’s a nippon fishing tackle rod.  It’s in pretty rough shape, missing a few eyes and the varnish is peeling.  I’d love to get it touched up and hang it on the wall.  Does anyone know where I could get this done?  I found a guy on the east coast but would like to keep it local.  Thanks for your time.

I have, Greg is the owner and he knows his stuff.  His shop is located in downtown Lake Stevens.

Greg has a pretty good reputation from what I've heard also.

Another vote for Greg’s- they fixed up a rod for me this year and is was very nicely done.
