I got bit by the AR build bug, I have a couple in the works now, 1 is a Gas Piston 7.5" side charging pistol and the other is going to be a 16" fighting gun

Working on getting together good yote hunting gear. Just picked up a Rock River predator pursuit 20" ar15,  next is a ecaller and a couple hand calls. Then put some time in the woods down around the oly area for a some dogs this winter, or at least till bear season.

I have been bit by the Backcountry bug. Now I find myself looking for all the light weight yet quality gear. This year I scrounged up enough gear from buddies to go on the high hunt. I would like to go in about 20lbs lighter on the pack this year. Been learning lots and I'm super excited for next year.

I went from having zero Remington 700's to 3 in the course of less than a year. Now I've been hitting the googler trying to come up with some ideas to do something fun with one of them. Currently it's a VTR in .308

Just bought another CZ 527 Varmint but this time in 17 Rem so I'll be playing with that.

Have a 20-250 build that is going together to shoot the 55gr Bergers but it won't be done till shortly after the first of the year.

I'm picking up my 6.5-284 from Defensive Edge tomorrow that I had Shawn do his +P throat design on so I'll be playing with that soon and seeing what kind of increased fps I can get out of it and still make it shoot 1/2 MOA or better.  A legitimate 3200fps w/140's out of a 26in barrel, without redlining it, would be pretty cool.

I have a Rem 700 SA and LA, both already blueprinted, ready to go into builds but I'm a bit indecisive at the moment and I don't really have anything that is pulling me one way or the other.  With the SA I'm kinda maybe thinking a lighter weight build with a Hardy CF wrapped barrel in 6.5 something or other.

I kinda have the same problem myself.  If you were to ask my wife, she'd say the problem was, oh wait, I never ask her anyway so who cares what she says.  :chuckle:

Juat ordered a bunch of parts for my new rifle build.  Goal for this gun is an accurate,  easy to handle trainer that my kids can also handle and shoot.  After much internal struggle I settled on the .243 mainly because I already have good brass, dies, and lots of lead for it already.  Mike at Hells Canyon Armory is slapping it together for me.  Tikka action, one of his amazing carbon barrels, McMillan Gamescout stock.  Somewhat undecided on finished barrel length.  Would be a great rifle for a suppressor especially since the kiddos are gonna be cutting their teeth on it.

Reloading is like therapy, first thing I’m going to do is get a kinda truck gun /brush gun. Right now all I have are long range setups that are a pain to tote around in the blacktail  woods and bear woods. Then I’m going to start buying parts for a new build for backpacking, maybe it will be put together next year maybe not.

I just finished assembling a Savage 12 in 223 varmint contour riding in a MDT chassis system. I'll post up some pics once I get it out to the range for some load work.
