Magpul hunter700 magwell fit into m5/badger stock inlet?
« on: December 26, 2017, 12:40:09 PM »
Hopefully someone here knows,
Does the magpul use the standard m5 inlet that many ai compatible bottom metals use? Does anyone have m5 type mag well they can measure and send me measurements?
Hoping they are designed to fit the same inlet.

Thanks

ANswered my own question... it is different. I got ahold of a inlet pattern for the m5 and compared.

how do you like that hunter 700?   I'm thinking about sticking one on a R700 short action 243.

Also, I'm wondering if it'll adjust down to almost compact size?  This 243 is a compact I use with kids when I take em out so it would be nice if I took all the adjuster plates out if it was pretty short lop

I like it well enough. It is a solid sturdy stock. Only drawback would be weight. If the kids are packing the gun. Other than that it’s very adjustable. THe shortest it can go is 13 inches from the back of the butt to the trigger. Let me know if you want some specific info or pictures and I can post up.

I’m about to put mine together in a short action. The stock is heavy.
