Bibs
« on: January 02, 2018, 06:51:35 AM »
So what's everyone running for bibs?

Had the Cabela's Brush Buster Bibs but took a knee last week and busted a seam. Really liked them but turns out Cabela's stopped making them. Picked up a cheap-o Cabela's Dri Fowl 2 bibs for 60 bucks to hold me over till next year.

Anybody running sitka or other topnotch brands? Planning to upgrade my bibs to the top of the line. I use my bibs the most out of almost all my gear.

Sitka are nice, but expensive.  They have some new lines coming out this spring.  Might be worth looking at.  They will cost you over $500 for them.
Cut em!

Yeah for now I'd rather put my $$$ into bibs instead of a jacket. Layout bibs look nice but not much insulation. Pantanals look decent and I have a buddy with them but they look like I'd tear them up.

I have had the pantenial bins by sitka for about 5 years. They work great and I have never got wet. Not sure what they are coming out with this spring but wait until summer to see what they come out with. They aren’t insulated. I wear an insulation layer under them when it gets cold.

When it’s cold & I wear bibs I break out my quilted carhartt bibs. Tough as nails, warm & comfy
