THE FUR SHED ~ Photo Gallery
« on: February 10, 2018, 09:48:40 AM »

Hi Guys and Gals,   :hello:
I'm working on the next Fur Shed Newsletter and I am putting in a Photo Gallery of this years catch.
Do you have a picture of you and your catch or one of your kids catch that you would like to share with us?
If you do either post it here or send me a PM and I'll share it with all of our members.
Note Here: Not all pictures will be used, I have only so much room.
JC   :hello:

She's my "trapping buddy"!
Seeing her face when we check the traps and get some fur is one of the most enjoyable parts of trapping! I know I'm not the only father who feels that way!

Oh I've been a Dad a long time.     My youngest daughter "Tania" (Cooking with Tania in the newsletter)" the cook" was and still is my trapping / fishing buddy.
When she was young, she would go out with me fishing (once ice fishing at -30 below) and to this day she still talks me into going fishing even at night time for squid.
Anyway, when she was young she would pack those beaver out of the wood for me.  I would put one in a pack and let her carry it to the truck which sometimes was a half mile away.
I use to bait bears (when we could bait bears) and she would pack the bait in with me.
When she grew up she started working for me in my office and than out in the field.  I will put her up against some good beaver trappers I know and all I can say is watch out.  She can catch animals.

She would work in the field and when people would come by she always stopped doing what she was doing and talk with them.  She is good with people.  Attach see the picture of her talking with a guy and his grand kid.  She trapped this 73 lb beaver in the picture.

As a "Cook", she is a "Certified Pastry Chef".  If you haven't had any of her "treats" you are missing out.  Just ask Bruce about her candy has he calls it.  The things she makes with chocolate.  You should see her fancy cookies. She makes cookies (and I'm the field tester  :chuckle:) that people don't want to eat because of all the work she puts into them.
She is a great cook !  Some guy out there is really missing out.

She is the enjoyable part of trapping you say .................. Oh no ........ Enjoyable in everything they do in life

John. Your more then welcome to use any of the pictures I've posted. If there are any that you would like me to send you let me know.
It's not the size of the trophy that make's it a trophy.

You may just be one person in this world. But you may be the world to just one person.
