I saw and read something that they are trying going to get it on the ballot this year since it failed.  It will be watered down with words but expect your gasoline prices to spike by 30-50 cents more in taxes r

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I believe it's 10 to 30 cents over the next 3 to 5 years.

I might be mistaken, but didn't this state pass a law stating any and all tax increases and new taxes had to be put to a ballot vote?

I like the round abouts... what I don't like is those that can't quite figure them out, even after being in for a year!

Did you vote for the extra $2 billion in new taxes for education? Did anyone?

Last year, lawmakers made a deal to spend $2 billion more for education.

This came after the state Supreme Court held legislators in contempt for not performing their paramount duty of fully funding public education.

The ruling, known as the McCleary decision, came down in 2012.

Lawmakers last year finally passed a plan that relies on property taxes.

On Monday, Snohomish County released some of the first property assessments.

If you live in a single family home valued at $400,000, you can expect to pay about $330 more per year for just the education portion.

Right. I'm in the same boat. I think the roundabouts are great. There ought to be a class on how to use them though.

Yeah, then they just had a new levy on top of it.

We just need to start getting these clowns out of office. I have always wanted to go back and retire in Wenatchee but this state is going to get screwed up. Might have to choose another place.
