Custom T-shirts and decals
« on: March 16, 2018, 09:56:38 PM »
I'm building up my T-shirt and decal business, Scapegoat Enterprises, and finally got around to becoming a paid sponsor here on HuntWA. At the moment I'm taking suggestions on the final design of the HuntWA T-shirt. That discussion is going on in this thread in the Virtual Campfire section.
http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,225459.msg3000095/topicseen.html

While that's getting worked out I do have a few of my other designs ready to go. It's worth mentioning that myself and a couple others in the "brain trust" behind the designs have a slightly different sense of humor than many folks. Consider all of the designs and ideas to be fairly tongue-in-cheek and they'll all make more sense.

I'm have a pile of other designs and ideas that I'm working on with various levels of snark to them. I've also made custom shirts for a buddy's Facebook group using his idea/design. Shirts are selling for $15 plus a couple bucks to cover shipping. If you have a special design that you want done just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I can also do vinyl decals for just about anything you can dream up. Standard sized decals up to 6"x12" are $7 and larger ones will depend on the size, but likely in the $10-12 range. If you have an idea, just let me know and I'll see what I can do for you.

I'll try and update this add as I come up with new designs as well as updating my website and Facebook page. Both of those are still works in progress as I try to gauge the overall interest in the shirts and decals.

Thanks, and just reach out to me if you have any questions.

I can do any size you'd like. I'm only 5' 7", so anyone over 5' 8" is a giant to me.  :chuckle: I have a couple of the HuntWa Shirts going out in 3XLT and 4XLT sizes.

Like last 2 shirts. First one is weak marketing piece imo.  I buy/sell 1000’s of Tee/hoodys but would lose staff over first one.   Art storyboard Concept is great tho I just need politically correct theme - or a bunch of them but anti-me too is not the flagship tee I would start with
Just trying to help.  :sry:

Surprised mods actually let this slip by.

I won't disagree on the first style, but will mention that there's a long story behind it that predates the "me too" movement by about 7 years. If I only sold shirts that I'd personally wear they'd all be medium sized, solid colored with short sleeves.

I know it sounds odd, but mass appeal goes against my business model. The most recent designs are more subtle but equally offensive to the wrong person.

I'm actually working with my son and a couple of his friends on a few designs which would fall into the mass appeal market.

I suggest you post links to a website you can buy the shirts in this thread as not all of us play in the virtual campfire section.  I like the huntwa shirts and would order one for sure.

I like that idea so much I'm actually working on that now. It may take me a few days but I'll post up when I get a preliminary design done.

That's the exact response I'm going for.  :chuckle:

I have the website up, but the e-commerce section is still not fully up and running yet. Since this is still really just a side gig for now it takes a backseat to my real job. I just need time to get the website fine tuned. For now folks can reach out to me here or on Facebook if anyone is interested in any of the shirts. I'll edit my signature line to include some contact info.

I did get a neighbor kid to become my first sponsored minion today. He's my official "hype man" and he works for T-shirts, what's not to love! I told him I'll adopt him to replace my son if he's a good enough salesman. :chuckle:

Here's a good shooting themed design. This will actually make a great window decal too.

Here's the design of the day. I'm not 100% sure about the font but I like the concept.
