12 years of putting in for everything in Washington with nothing to show for it besides a couple of second deer tags with 100% odds.  First year putting in for New Mexico and i just hit the jackpot with not one but two tags!!  I think the odds were about 1 in 1000, but now i get to hunt antelope and deer in the Land of Enchantment.

Anyway - has anyone here ever drawn a NM antelope tag where they assign you a specific ranch?  I'm curious when/how I'll get notified of my ranch assignment, the instructions are vague.

Nothing for me...hopefully the other states are more kind!

It is. I was slightly jealous when he texted me saying he drew again. Between him and I, we've drawn 3 times in NM.

No luck for me in NM this year but I applied for hunts with long odds to draw. Hope to read some success stories & see pics from members this fall.

Randy Newberg did a show on this hunt in the past season of Fresh Tracks.
I know I've lost it, let me know if you come across it

I drew one of the Unit 6A early archery unguided elk tags. I didn't draw archery Ibex, but that's ok. This will be my first time hunting New Mexico, so I'm very excited!
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!
