Me and my hunting partner went in on a vortex razor spotting scope, I've never had a scope before so I'm excited to use it. I'm about to upgrade my gaiters as my KUIU ones suck. Other than that I think I'm pretty well dialed in. I'd like to upgrade my left knee but I don't think that is possible yet. I did discover salonpas pain relief patches and these will be going in my pack. Great for a shoulder or knee after a long day, really work well and weigh nothing
what in the wild wild world of sports???

Oh, I forgot about my new Outdoor Research Foray rain jacket.

Nothing like a drab green gore-tex with a lifetime warranty

Wife suprised me with a stone glacier solo pack and since she says she expects me to not be an idiot anymore she bought me a steri pen too lol. I haven't upgraded anything, she is doing it all.
It sounds like you've made good life choices.

Seems like it. Not sure her judgement was as good as mine though lol

You know how it is with Gaiters, if they don’t fit your leg they are worthless. So it’s just a fit issue but I’m a little salty toward all things Kuiu

Better than I expected from Gore-tex paclite.  But if my goal was the slap a Roosevelt elk on the butt, I would probably want a different jacket.

I would like me a knee upgrade also.  Three days of ice and still not much better.   I will check out salonpas see if that helps.

Just got me some color correcting glasses so now I can see all my colors. Holy smokes, I thought the woods looked cool before, seeing it all in color is a trip! Tried up out on an overnighter this weekend and other than sweat pooling all up in them I loved every second.
