Ditto.
Deer Thug helped me out immensely. I'd like the opportunity to do the same for someone else.

Ditto. I’ve probably hit double digits the number of times I’ve watched that one.

Sorry, I have been working all weekend.

I have to apologize to the thread.  :bash: This was my first time on this forum and as a new member I just did a search for Goat rocks 2018 and found this. I didn't 't realize it was "for other big game" (a buddy informed me of that).

I drew the Quality Elk Goat Rocks tag, not the Goat tag. Again, sorry and I feel bad for all of you that spent the time to send me personal messages about the Goats. I will hand onto them however, in case I do draw the goat tag some year

And yes, great video of the Goat Hunt!!

I saw a grand total of zero elk. When fillthefreezer and I were in the snow we heard an elk bugling. Got excited, cow called a little only to find that it was a hunter who was bugling.
That's all I got.

It was the last weekend in September I believe.  We were up high and mostly out of the trees.

I saw quite a few elk in there in the summer  a few deer too.  About half way up the trail it bends to the west.  Go off trail into the basin below goat lake north / eastish...  In the timber and then into the basin to the east.  Easy hike and good trails.
