Howdy,

Myself and a couple hunters are over by chewelah for the second year trying to bag a turkey. We have been hunting around quartz mountain with no luck. Last year there were some birds gobbling around but nothing this year. Due to our jobs we only had one weekend in April and this weekend to make something happen but all we seem to find are ticks  :tung:  any advice somewhere that’s not terribly far from here? Good luck and thanks

Go up around Colville and or buy a map from Bearpaw. I have seen quite a few Turkey in the Little pend oreille NWR.

I saw 50 birds spread out south of Immel between it and 395. Got to to learn how to ask permission nicely.
