First Wa bird
« on: May 06, 2018, 05:57:01 PM »
Had a wonderful time with with Bearpaw, Daniel put me on him Thursday morning. 3 gobblers came in. He was the coolest. Should have had another one Friday morning. Airmailed the shot right over his head. First Tom for me, shot a Eastern Jake in 99 back home. Hopefully the first of many. Got measurements today, beard is 9”, spurs were 1 1/16”, had him at 16 lbs at the lodge.

Well done.
