WTT/WTS AR for something
« on: June 13, 2018, 07:47:24 PM »
I'm bored with ARs and this is just taking up space in the safe. The lower is a reasonably nice billet (stamped Grizz precision) lower with a CMC single stage trigger. This is left over from my 270 AR and 6.5 BRX projects. The upper is just an Anderson 16" 1-8" twist 5.56 upper that I threw on there for when others wanted to shoot the rifle. The rings will go with the upper, the scope is already gone.

I'm not really looking for anything in particular, but here are a couple ideas for full or partial trades:
- Rem 700 in any of the RUM chamberings
- SS Weatherby Vanguard in any mag chambering
- Marlin Guide gun in either 450 Marlin or 45-70
- Anything in an odd chambering
- Just about any SS long action bolt gun (no Savages, I'm all Savaged out)

$600 for the rifle with the rings. I'm not looking for any shotguns or handguns right now. I'm in Yelm but I'll meet up with anyone interested in the Olympia or Tacoma areas to handle the paperwork.

Andrew

Yep, got it from him when I picked up the 6.5 Grendel CZ 527 he built for me. We dug through his pile of receivers to find serial #81 to match the year I was born.

I'm thinking of offloading a custom 22-250 heavy barrel with a commercial FN action. It was assembled in the early 60's prior to zip codes. Any interest in that?

I've crammed a lot of firearms related shenanigans into a relatively short time. :chuckle:

I'll pass on this, I'm not much for the FN Mausers. Thanks though.

Any idea on the production date?

Throw in one of those bulk buckets of cheap ammo and you may be on to something.  :chuckle:

I’d be interested in the scope if you want to separate.

I've got a bum shoulder and have trouble drawing a bow any more. :(

The scope is gone but rifle's still here if anyone else has something to offer in trade. I'll add any magnum bolt face short action (WSM/SAUM) rifle to the possible trade list. I've got a new idea and now I need another donor action.
