Lake Chelan guide?
« on: June 20, 2018, 06:03:39 PM »
Any guide suggestions for a father-son kokanee/lake trout trip sometime in the next couple weeks? Thank you for any suggestions. I know a ton of people fish it, just don’t know the “go to” guides. Spent my whole life salmon and steelhead fishing and have heard good and bad things about the guides on the lake.Thank you for any and every suggestion!

Brad Wagner,  bobber down guide service. But it might be hard to find a guide in a few weeks as salmon season will be opening up on the river.

Second Darryl and Dads. They put my son and I in a pile of fish a few years ago.
There is not enough wilderness left in the world, or in the hearts of men.

Brad at Bobber Down or Sam Baird would be my two choices for sure.  As someone else mentioned though, once July 1 rolls around they'll both likely be fishing salmon from there on out.

Joe heinlen lakechelanadventures.com good chance he can put you on landlocked Chinook too.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Darrell and Dads. They were the only one who had an open spot so it made my choice pretty easy. Had a great time and The wife, six year old son, and I all caught multiple nice fish. Next year I’ll try a kokanee trip.
