Coyote hunting.

I was wondering if anyone knew any good places for a 13 year old boy and his dad to hunt some coyotes in Eastern or Western Washington. Thank you.

The Desert Wildlife Area south of Moses Lake, lots coyotes, free camping, decent fishing, great place to spent time with your son.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

NO coyotes in Tahuya...or Dewato for that matter...   :chuckle:

They call has little to do with coyote calling as they will come to most sounds if you are in the right place.  A dying rabbit on a mouth call seems to work all the time, hurt pup has it's followers as does howling.  Remote callers also work, over the years I've used a bunch from a battery powered phonograph in the 60's through cassettes, CD, sound chips and digital, they all called critters.

Spend sometime reading calling books, or watching calling DVD's Tony Tebbe has a very good one on learning how to hunt not just kill vid's.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.
