Looks like kings close Sunday.

Looks like they are only shutting down up to Priest Rapids Dam?

That section has already been closed for Kings since last saturday the 7th. They will close Priest Rapids to Chief Joseph this weekend for kings as well.

We took home a few limits of sockeye and 2 hatchery kings from a recent trip. Was happy to get a few filets for the freezer.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Huge bummer to fisherman and the groups and communities that were going to host the derbies.  I'll probably still take one trip for sockeye, but it's unfortunate it shut down so quickly.

You said you won't be back to fish for sockeye, just curious if you thought it wasn't worth it or maybe the crowds are to big e.t.c. I was thinking about making a trip over there and trying to gather some info. Thanks.

I hear ya...was nice to fill the cooler with meat (sockeye) and then chase kings. Already looking forward to next year.

Must not of been there Friday. Was lights out Friday. Then they dumped a bunch of water Friday late and it cleared out the boats and the fish. Didnít get a hit after that. What boat were you in?  I was in the flat bottom sled
