Time to tan that hide.  :)

So, use a paper clip for a fur stretcher?

Okay didn't know I shoulda clarified this; I was practicing survival techniques on it like skinning and gutting, I wasn't gonna eat it lol... I actually cooked it and fed it back to my cats because they're too darn tamed to know they can eat uncooked meats. I did keep the p3elt though, it is insanely soft.
the pelts make great thongs, almost as soft as a mole,,ps, extract teeth before wearing thong

I needed a nutria for the proper coverage.

@Mouseproblem any updates?  It's been a couple of days how is the finger doing?
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

:chuckle: :yeah: :chuckle: first thing I thought of when I read this post , great movie, especially when he out pees the wolves  :chuckle:

I used his technique of marking my territory to keep the yotes from coming up in o my tent and sniffing. They kept me up for two nights at the meadow above Pearygen.
In 1997 I went up on Monday before the opener to have a little sabbatical before the general opener by myself. I remembered what he did in “Never Cry Wolf” and I drank a ton of coffee all day, and peed all around my camp about 30 ft away from my tent. That night they stayed away, and I was sung to sleep listening to them in the distance.
It actually worked!
