I'm amazed they haven't come up with a second drawing to raise more application funds?
:yeah: also include tags that people don’t want from the main draw, give them 2 weeks to decide to give permits back and give points back.

Getting close....I'm at the front of no line an hour early
How did you do?

Somebody fumbled after being distracted by a jerk.  Oh well, might give me a better idea.

that sucks, 99% of the strategy of getting this tag is being at a place where they are very prepared and aware of how quick this needs to happen. I think that’s half the reason I was able to purchase the multi season elk two years in a row was because the ladies I went to were very aware and prepared.

I had prior engagements that morning but managed to make it to fred Meyer's by 9:50 and I was first in line.  I should have taken that as a hint...  The kid behind the counter was click happy and logged himself out at 10.  At 10:03 he was signed back on and asking for my numbers again...  Won't be using fred meyers next year. :bash:

The woman at the  Fred Meyers in Bonney lake told me that they can’t do a multi season tag that and I needed to call WDFW..... five minutes later I’m walking out of Walmart with my multi season tag smh.  :bash:

Was quite the show yesterday morning. I went to Walmart (Knew that would be a mistake) and they called WDFW to have them void my standard tag. The lady on the phone said since I applied and didn't get drawn I was not eligible to get a left over. I laughed at the Walmart employee and said ok....I will go somewhere else. I went to the regional office in Ephrata where I should have gone in the first place and did it there. When the lady there called Olympia, the same lady answered the phone and told her the same thing and the lady in Ephrata told her no, she was wrong and then the lady in Olympia fessed up and said, actually I am not authorized to do it and everyone that can is in a meeting all day. Both myself and the lady at the Ephrata office were pretty frustrated at this point. LOL. I left my number and carried on with my morning and about 3 hours later I got a call that they had finally voided my tag and that they were ready to sell me my multi season tag. Quite the Sh## show, but at least I got it done.

Last time I bought one, the lady at the counter listened to me an hour before as I told her what was up.  Then she realized it was like trying to buy a concert ticket, and she was all over trying to get it done for me when the time came.

Stupidity.  All the man-hours lost and massive frustration attempting to purchase leftover tags at vendor's who don't know how the system works.

Just another WDFW mismanaged program that could easily be improved.

They should just sell them to the people who's numbers were next on the drawing. So they draw a 1000 numbers and they are the ones selected. So if 150 people don't purchase them they should offer them to the people who were assigned the numbers after the 1000 drawn until they are gone. (Hope that makes sense. ) That seems fair to me anyways.

They could offer the 150 left overs to the next 150 in line but all 150 will not buy one. If they sell 100 then they have 50 left over. So they offer those 50 to the next 50 in line but only 30 but one..

the multi season tag should just be able to be bought over the counter every season for anyone who wants it imop.... if it does not change to that then i think who put in should be able to purchase leftovers as is....
