That little bear isn't going to learn how to be a real bear living away from people, they learn from the sow at a very young age what and how to eat and how to forage, it's either going to die a long slow death of starvation or more likely find more people to scavenge from.  They need euthanized.

Bearpaw echoes my thoughts as well on Jackelope's photo.  Front on I am 95% certain it is a gorgeous black bear, but I would want to see it's profile to confirm.  It seems those shoulder humps are more pronounced on a black bear when they are standing with their front feet below their back feet.

Reporter probably couldn't tell the obvious difference..probably never been in the woods and seen a bear in real life
