A Possum Tale
« on: August 15, 2018, 01:38:14 PM »
As our 4 year old Daughter was growing up we taught her to, " Always look both ways before crossing the street ! "

Around that same time some critter was invading our backyard, eating up the fruit in our garden.
I set out a Cage Trap at a hole in the fence to see what it was that kept sneaking into our yard at night.

We ended up catching so many Possum, that I started spray painting their tails with a different can of paint just before they "Escaped".  (To see if the same culprits were getting caught over and over?)
After running the gamut of color choices in spray paint, I decided we had a Possum problem..............
  :yike:

That week riding in the car, our Daughter called out from the back seat.....
"Look Daddy, It's the Red Tailed Possum, :'( He must have forgot to look both way's before crossing the street!" :'(
