Never had that issue make sure it isn't locked and also may try formatting it to your camera

When you look at the files in Windows Explorer can you see them? Are they .jpg files? Can you read image files from other storage media? Have you tried a different card reader? Does your card reader read images from cards other tha SanDisk? Have you tried a different USB port?

It sounds like your camera may not gave recognized the card.

Yup, format every time. I had the same problem... multiple cameras, multiple cards

I started labeling which cards came from which camera after having multiple cams in Idaho not read after a several month soak. Like has already been stated re formatting is a must!

I had a card that was corrupted.  I could not get it to format of delete pictures.  Chucked it   i had bought it for a new camera last year.  The first soak only had 30 minutes of pictures.  Thought it was the camera.  Returned it.  When I popped the replacement camera open last week with the same card, no pictures for the 4 months it was out.  Looked at the images on my laptop and they were all from the previous camera the year before  Several thousand over 8 hours, but they were in multiple folders, that is why I had not seen them before.  Don't know if the first camera did in the disc or it was bad from the get go.  Both are gone now though.
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

Read the directions to the camera. Most of the cameras do not like high speed cards. Like sdhc. Maybe your Sandisk was that? Unless it’s a stealthcam then just throw the cam in the garbage.  :twocents:

Seems like lately ive been having the same issues with my cards. Guess what..they were all in my stealthcams. My conclusion..stealthcam is garbage. Ive had good luck with Bushnell.....so far
