Quality Deer 105 GMU
« on: October 22, 2018, 04:55:36 PM »
Looking for any advice to successfully fill this Quality tag.  Appreciate any feedback back on a good location.  I was thinking Horns mountain or Hope mountain.  Hunting dates I will be going is 11/5 - 11/9 and again 11/17 - 11/21.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

Do you have the mule deer permit or the whitetail permit?

I’d look at onX maps and hunt lower around agriculture fields you will see way more deer.

pretty sad to see unit 105 where its at today compared to 25 years ago. I grew up and started hunting that unit when I was 10 years old.  I went up over the weekend to scout and get ready for late buck and ventured into a area I hadnt been in 20 years and it was sad to see. I remember the days where seeing does about everywhere was the norm, you would see muleys almost everywhere you went. Yesterday I was there from light till 4 pm hanging cams and saw nothing. My favorite area I never saw a track, crap, a rub old or new or a trail!

That's the way Wa is trending to these days

The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Reverse tactics. Hunt bear and cougar as a priority, then you'll see deer...
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............
