You may remember Legend.   He survived years of being legal.  He was a beast.

Love Legend's mass
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

This is really cool thread. Here is one from last year. Karl might recognize this area  :)
I think he sprouted a back fork this year :chuckle:

I need to pony up a few bucks to the forum I think. If I recall correctly I made this thread after reading a slew of comments from guys who couldn't find legal bucks but were wading through mature 2 points and I felt like being a smart azz.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

1975 Methow buck. Yeah, he has 3 points on one side, but his 2point side was tall!

I mean, not a ton of money. There's only like 3 mature true 2x2's posted.  Your assumption wasn't wrong.

The largest bodied deer I've ever seen was a 2x2 while hunting outside of broadus montana. He was right next to the road, on private property. Huge!!!! 300lbs plus if he was a pound. It was amazing to watch him turn and jump a fence at about 15 yds from us. No pic but I'll never forget how big he was. To watch him just trot away up over a hill is still embedded on my brain. Would've loved to at seen him a mile to the north on public land...

Remember that a spike or a two point i is throwing his whole back ground dna to match up to the does egg back ground dna.  So a spike can litterly toss our a 4 a point a doe or what ever spe$% makes it to the egg first. And it depends on the doe dna too.  Both have to mesh
Shoot straight Shoot often
