2nd ~ 2018/19 Trapping Season Contest ~ Longest Mink

Okay Guy & Gals,
I thought I would start the Second Contest.  This one will be for the longest mink.

Rules are the same, post a picture of your mink with some kind of measuring tool (tape or ruler) from tip of nose to base of tail on here.

Prizes:
1st Place ~ One dozen (12) Wood Mink Board with wedges, plus one each NAFA & FHA Fur Pelt Handling Manuals,
plus one “Top Dollar Fur Handling Mink DVD” by Mike Matney, showing Adam Stowell skinning and putting up mink
plus one Professional Cleaned Mink Skull.

2nd Place ~ 1/2 dozen (6) Wood Mink Board with wedges,  plus one each NAFA & FHA Fur Pelt Handling Manuals,
plus one “Top Dollar Fur Handling Mink DVD” by Mike Matney, showing Adam Stowell skinning and putting up mink.

3rd Place ~ Three (3) Wood Mink Board with wedges, plus one each NAFA & FHA Fur Pelt Handling Manuals.

Contest runs until the 28th of March. We know its not the end of season but a couple days before the Winter Rendezvous.

* Winner can pick up his or her prize at the Winter Rendezvous/Fur Sale/Spring Business Meeting on the 30th of March *

So there you go second contest, 5 months to come up with a biggest beaver tail and largest Mink!  Good Luck, have a happy and safe season.

Is the measurement after the mink has been put up, or before skinning?

Now if I can successfully catch a damn mink.... Haha little buggers have busted up a lot of my colonys over the years but I've yet to get one that didn't involve my Silverado and the highway

 Got our first mink of the year yesterday.  24" in the round. Curious what he'll measure when put up.
