New Elk Packer(pics added)
« on: February 10, 2019, 09:40:51 PM »
Took my wifes elk rack to the Portland sportshow to get it scored. My Dad used his walker to push it back to the scoring booth. Worked real nice. He enjoyed all the conversation about the Elk.

Nice, I'll bet he had a good time with that. What did it score?

Yes he had a great time. He is 77 years old and a diehard bowhunter. He has packed and taken dozens of elk including some truly big bulls. Great to spend time with him but sad that he is not the packing  beast he was even a few years ago. My first good bull weighed 408 at the locker and he packed it in 2 halves on his back about a half mile on an old grade. The bull scored 326 gross netted 317 with a long beam of 53 6/8.
