Looking to give an archery shop a lot of money
ljsommer:
Hello,
I am willing to drive anywhere in WA to find the best bowshop who will spend the most time with me on a new bow. I am looking to buy a very high quality bow, but more importantly I want it perfectly tuned and setup for me so that when I walk out the door, I am 100% ready.
Compound bows are complicated as hell and frankly I don't have the expertise to work on one well. I need a shop that will slow down and take time to work on something with me for as long as it takes. I have gone through two bow shops so far (Nock Point and Great Northwest Archery) and both are rushing me out the door after selling me a product.
So, who's got the skinny on a great archery shop that I can give some cash to?

Come down to Vancouver to Archery World. Not only is Joe Mallicoat a superior bowman and Marine, he's very active in the community and has helped many kids get into bowhunting through discounts, freebies, and other generosity. You can't go wrong with Joe and Archery World.

I buy and set up my own (I'm average at the very best in my endeavors, LOL) so I understand your position. I have heard nothing but exceptional comments/reviews on XXX Archery down across the big bridge in Rainier, OR. Its a bit of a drive but again, I have not heard anything but positive experiences from those who have dealt with them.

Nock Point has been excellent to me. Talk to Michael, the younger guy. He's been incredible at working with my buddies and I to adjust cam timing, draw weight, chrono-ing our bow, talking broadhead performance and arrows... too bad you didn't have the same experience. I won't go anywhere else.

I would 2nd archery world, they have always been good to me when I have had them work on a bow.
