« on: April 16, 2019, 04:39:57 PM »
When can we expect these? I only saw up to 2017 on the WDFW website.

Lovely. Harvest data comes out "mid May" and permit applications are due May 22. So much time. Thanks WDFW! :hello:

Don't worry, it probably won't be accurate anyway.

They forgot the cougar numbers.  I don't know about the rest of the state, but the total harvest for the blues was over double the harvest objectives for the GMU's in the Blue Mt area....as it was for 2017.  Says something about the population eh?

I thought the same thing gramps but then I remembered there are still some units open until April 31, so I figured cougar numbers would be out by mid May.

I think the 2018 season ends on Mar 31, then the 2019 season is Apr 1-30 then Sep 1-Mar 31 2020.

Thanks...I didn't think of other areas still being open for cougar.  focused on the local area I guess, which all closed Jan. 1

The 2018 regs say the late season is Jan.1 - April 30 or until harvest guidelines are met then it closes. If you shoot one in April you have to use your 2019 tag but I think it's still considered part of the 2018 season.  I don't believe a cougar shot in April would count against the next seasons harvest guideline. At least that's the way I understand it.
