First time turkey hunt
« on: April 22, 2019, 05:36:42 PM »
Hey guys, I’ll be going on my first turkey hunt next month. I’m planning on going to the colville/Spokane area. Any tips on where to focus my attention on? Not looking for someone to give away their honey hole. Just looking for some tips. I’ve got some decoys (jake and hen setup), got a box call I’ve been practicing with. What areas and tips do y’all recommend for a first time turkey hunter? Anything is appreciated. Message me if you want also. Thanks! Happy hunting

I don't think there are any big secrets that aren't already covered on many pages. Eastern Washington has a lot of turkeys but you need a lot of window and hiking time to find them sometimes. I prefer a slate call over a box call but a box call works great for locating turkeys. Good luck!
