Rifle is in fantastic shape. Bore is terrific. Action is super smooth. I bought this rifle from a great member on this site. My youngest daughter has decided she wants to shoot/hunt. I need to sell this rifle to fund a rifle for her. I never shot it, but these rifles are known to be good shooters. Original factory scope rings come with the rifle. Weighs in at 7lbs 5oz with the scope rings mounted.  Stock is in great shape. It does have a small hole drilled in the end of the stock by the barrel. May have been for a sling stud. These skeleton stocks/boat paddle stocks have developed a strong cult like following. Great all weather rifle.
$800 OBO
$750 OBO
$700 OBO
May consider trade for .243 in stainless/synthetic

Yes. Kind of crazy. I looked online and most are going for 850-1200.

I personally think this model rifle was the best working rifle on the market, really disappointed Ruger dropped the stock design in favor of the hollow sounding “conventional” stock. I have 3 of this model and wish I had more, not in the cards right now though.

I just noticed this one has been altered with a Limbsaver :yike:  completely destroyed the value, I’ll give you $250 to take it off your hands.

I remember the hard, ribbed rubber pad on my .300 WM leaving nice red lines on my shoulder after a good round of shooting :)
