Hammer, did you do anything or put a different trigger in the Grendel I got from you ?

If I recall correctly, that 26” Grendel had a Rock River 2-Stage National Match trigger. Two or three builds after that one you have. I went to the CMC 2/2 flat shoe triggers.

When people ask me to work on their firearms, the first thing I ask if it’s been cleaned and lubed properly. If both have been done, then yes, bring it in if it’s still not working.

My initial thought is a gas issue possibly stemming from gas block misalignment.

Good to see you, BH. I had my build coated in Desert camo. Looks great.

I saw that. Looks great! How may rounds do you have on it now? Still shooting well? Everyone I have put together on a billet  upper has shot slightly better than most Mil-Spec forged uppers.

About 400 I think. It's very tight, 1/2" moa @100yds. I need a bigger scope for past 300, though. The 2-10 doesn't hack if for these old eyes.

Off topic so my apologizes, but I need to do a barrel swap from 308 to 6.5CM on a new SP10 I bought and the AR10 platform is a new project for me and I need to get a vise to do the barrel swap.  Is there a particular vise you'd recommend???

It is a Grendel and Sporting Systems sent it out for me to some guy in Gresham. I'm very happy with it.

You can get them fairly inexpensive one on EBay just do a word search for “AR10 upper receiver block”. If you don’t plan on removing and installing a bunch of barrels. If you want the best way to go about it, go with a “Reaction rod” the rod engages the barrel extension and is bullet proof when it comes to serious torque and it does not stress the receiver at all.
