Well I’d go with a 375 cheytac but something tells me there could be some issues getting that baby in the tikka action? :chuckle:
this feels like a hold my beer and watch this kind of moment  :chuckle:

Ohh, that'd be worth the price of admission for sure, but I'd want to watch from a distance.  :yike: :yike:

Do yourself a favor
and take my advice
Buy a tikka whatever caliber and hunt with it
use the extra money from not building and go on a hunt.

Oh I was just having some fun shoot the Tikka before you get it customized and compare the groups using the same ammo of course.

If he tried to shoot 215gr bergers in a factory tikka the bullet would be stuffed halfway down the case. With a custom he can throat it for the heavies and maximize the caliber.

  :chuckle: I hear you. Tikka’s are the end all be all for 7-800 bucks. Mine shoots really well. As a matter of fact I may keep it as is,dump another rifle I don’t need & pick up another as my donor action. Truth is they are great for the money & some shoot like a custom. They also are very lacking in twist rate, throat length, magazine length, recoil lugs & stocks are functionable at best imo. Point is I’m not building a 5-6000 custom action build, I’m turning a tikka action& trigger into one for less than half that because I can & I want to.😎😉

Question for you? What kind of pickup do you have & how much did you pay for it? I’m sure I can find one for ya that will get ya where ya want to go for a fraction of the money. Just imagine the hunts you could do with the savings & even have Mike build you a tikka carbon killer to take with you. :dunno:  :chuckle:

:dunno: :chuckle:  I thought that was a solid rationale response to somebody trying to tell me how to piss my own money away? :chuckle:  As a matter of fact maybe I should sell my nice pickup, buy a roach, build 2 rifles & schedule a sheep hunt up north? :tung: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

30-06
165 gr for deer
180 - 220 gr for elk

Best of both worlds
