Got an XLR evolution ordered for this. Wanted an element but no inlet for la so I went with another evolution.   Should be here in 4-8 weeks
That will be sweet! Except for the wait.

It’s all about the fit.  Plus I need a rail in front of my scope for a macro Charlie Tarac from tacomhq.   I like me butt pad canted 10deg to the left and raised up till the top is even with top of action. Same chassis as my 243.

Dang, that looks sweet!
Only 2 defining forces sacrificed themselves for you:
The American Soldier and Jesus Christ. One died for your freedom, the other for your soul.

My rock,
He trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle.

It’s shooting great.  Robbed my 243 of the folder and diy bag rider.

All set up and ready for the weekend.   Hopefully I’ll get out to one of my spots and try my hand at 2480 Sunday.

This morning didn’t go well. First I could not get my GoPro to work with my phone. By the time I did the battery was low and I left the extras on the charger at home. By this time the sun had risen and the rocks were light up good. Thought I got a range at 2480 but latter checked google earth and it said 2566. So I setup and the go pro was getting washed out. Had a heck of a time getting white balance right. Finally get set up and shoot. No spot, shoot one more and no eject. Had a bad peace of brass from load work that ended up getting a small chunk of rim bit off by my ejector and thought I had tossed it but it ended up loaded, when I slipped it in the rifle some how that bad spot lined up with my ejector claw. So peace of brass is stuck in my chamber and no cleaning rod to push it out. I fiddled with it for a min before throwing in the towel and heading home. Maybe next week

I had a slightly wrong size shell holder in my priming tool I was tring to get by with and it scarfed case rims like that.

Had sessions like that - all ready then fog, or batteries dead, or lands grew overnight since last checked,  or someone cutting wood where I was gonna setup, or wind is crazy,  rain starts , etc.  heh.  Better luck next time out.

thanks mw yup bad days happen. Can’t complain too much, I was in the mountains after all.   Think my biggest problem was being in a rush to leave.  Should have just loaded up the night before
