My best call for nuisance critter
« on: July 24, 2019, 04:56:46 PM »
So I receive a call Lincoln county sheriff's office. Citizen needs someone to remove 21 foot snake from mattress. I'm thinking prank all the way. But officer is serious and gives me the info.. so I call freaked out person. I'm told there is a 21 ft snake inside his mattress cover, and it sticks it's head out a spits stuff all over the room. Still thinking prank,I asked how he new it was 21 ft,and what's the diameter.. he says by the size of the matress, and diameter about 3 1/2 inches.. I said why don't you shoot it,lol he said because he's a felon.. he advised me he was about an hour or so from my location.im getting a hinky feeling now. So I tell him what my fee will be just to show up and he wasn't wanting to pay. I called the sheriff back and advised them of my conversation with this guy.. They said they would send an officer out... I never got a call back to see how it went

21' would be pushing the biggest snake ever in captivity. A reticulated python.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
