Time to consider joining the group, those wolves they help pay expenses on kill in Washington.  Idaho fish and game supports the program.  Also, they have a raffle going for a 6.5PRC that is very special, call Will at 509 443 0199 for info and tickets.  That is Foundation for Wildlife Management if you do not like alphabet soup.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Yes solid group but does not operate in Washington. I talked to them about expanding into Washington and they said because of the Trapping laws in place here is would be very difficult to do anything. Protection of trapping rights has everything to do with preventing the killing of coyotes and wolves since they can only be trapped with Snares and foot holds. Even then it is very difficult. F4WM has a great story of how they got started. I wouldnt be surprised if they expanded to MT WY and other trapper friendly states that have wolves.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I think F4WM has had a greater impact on salvaging big game herds in Idaho than most any other factor since delisting, their reimbursements are literally funding meaningful wolf management.

:yeah: agree 100% and I think t will help WA  as well since I am sure some of the wolf packs go back and forth. At least they will be trapped on one side of the border

Beyond a doubt F4WM helps Washington, consider the true range of these predators, not the little blue circles you often see.  The push is on to get 4000 members, help if you can.

Looks to be for a good cause.  I just joined as a family membership.  Heck, I'll be in ID hunting deer anyways and I went ahead and bought a wolf tag just in case.  With the reimbursement deal, if you get one, you just hunted for free.  If you don't, oh well, you were hunting so hopefully you had a good time!

Even if you don't get a wolf and a reimbursement, more importantly, you are helping fund the program with your membership, you are supporting the future of game herds in Idaho and even to some degree in neighbor states!
